Crime and Money
In an effort to crack down on crime, the federal government seeks to provide monies to cities in need. Twenty (20) million is the figure now being used as President Bush is putting in his requests for funding. This article highlights a focus on violent crime and gang related crime as the main areas of focus. It also notes a decrease in violent crime for the first half of 2007. Questions often arise as to where the money is to be spent and how the money should be spent. Your thoughts????
